Owner and Baker, here at New Hope Confections, I am a 'self-taught' baker... well, I was taught to bake by my mom, dad, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and friends -- anyone who would teach me. At the old age of three I started baking with my first Easy-Bake Oven, but it didn't work, so I graduated to a real oven, real fast! I have spent three decades learning from everyone around me.
